Kindlet Pro

The KINDLET PRO converts timber off-cuts and round logs into kindling.

The Big brother to the Kindlet has a larger timber capacity and higher output. Suited to the professional user, Kindling can be

adjusted from 15 cm (6”) to 29 cm (11 1/2”) lengths. The Unique X-Blade design ensures a consistent quality output. Section size of Kindling is adjusted simply from controls on front of machine.

KINDLET PRO is fully guarded with safety interlocks to gain easy access to the machine.

The KINDLET PRO uses modern hydraulics giving quiet and reliable operation.

Bagging options are from the standard bagging chute supplied with every machine for filling of standard nets, the ROTABAGGA for filling loose filled nets or bags, three bagging stations allowing a full bag to be unloaded, an empty bag to be positioned while the machine is filling the other bag. MANUAL BAGGA With its extended long chute provides space for fast and efficient packing of aligned kindling ideal for the high volume market.

Kindlet 200

This is the latest version of the market leading Kindlet. It converts timber off-cuts, pallet waste and round logs into kindling. Its benchmark two second cycle time is capable of processing 1.3 solid cubic meters per hour, equivalent to 120 nets. Kindlet 200 has a compact design incorporating the ergonomic improvements that follow, to ease and improve the speed of operation, boost efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.

• The machine is fully guarded to ensure operator safety whilst allowing the conversion process to be observed, the top guard hinges above the splitting area allow the operator to raise the guard.

• Hinges are fitted at the rear of the machine aiding user and servicing accessibility.

Splitta 360

Fuelwood SPLITTATM takes round logs up to 14" diameter and converts them into split firewood or kindling at rates over 7 cubic metres of solid timber per hour automatically!
The Unique splitting blade in the form of an ‘X’ is pushed into the end grain of the log. The blade is then retracted and the log fed sideways by a controlled distance. The cycle is then repeated.
The machine can be adjusted from producing firewood to kindling in a matter of seconds and the size of firewood or kindling can be set to between 15 to 120 mm square sections.

SPLITTATM is ideal for high volume production of bagged logs.
The X-blade produces consistent size logs, with no need to re-split any large pieces!

Splitta Series - Produce both Split Firewood or Kindling

Outputs:
From customer feedback they have achieved an average of 120 nets per hour with 2 persons bagging with wood cut to 8” length using the MANUAL BAGGATM into nets 42x60 cm. SPLITTATM will produce more logs than can be bagged. So by applying more staff to the bagging operation you can increase the production of nets.

SPLITTA 400

SPLITTA 400TM takes round logs up to 40 cm (16”) diameter and converts them into split firewood or kindling at rates over 12 cubic metres (425 Cubic Ft or 1 2/3 Full Cords) of solid timber (No assumed gaps in stack) per hour automatically!

Transaw 350 Firewood Processor

Description (Continued):

The log is moved to the cutting position on the hydraulic in-feed conveyor. The log length is set on an adjustable optical beam. When the log breaks this beam the feed conveyor stops and a hydraulic clamp locks the timber. The saw blade then moves through the timber, retracts after cutting and the cut timber is then moved via a tilt and pushing action to the splitting chamber. This action minimizes the possibility of the log falling sideways and designed specifically for processing short logs. The multi-splitting knife is adjustable 2/4/6/8-way split this can also be raised fully up if no splitting is required. The finished log length can be quickly adjusted from 6 to 20 inches. The splitting chamber is also equipped with a log ejection mechanism.

The machine is fitted with a 4 or 5 metre out-feed conveyor, which has hydraulic lift and slew features. Both the in-feed and out-feed conveyors fold up for transport. Transaw 350™ is PTO driven, weighs c.2000 Kg (4400 lbs) and requires a tractor of c.50 horsepower.

The machine utilizes the latest quiet hydraulic drive systems and in particular a hydraulic saw drive, which is quiet in operation and when switched off becomes a brake stopping the saw in a few seconds. The system does not use conventional drive belts ensuring low maintenance and low cost of ownership.

• Transaw has the unusual design capability to process short logs down to 15 cm (6”), ALL competition machines designed in Europe are designed to process longer firewood. Shorter firewood is notoriously more difficult to process and features of the Transaw minimize the log twisting when moving from the sawing to the splitting area.
• The Transaw has a unique splitting knife which does not require the operator to change knives when splitting different diameter timber the blade splits 2, 4 & 6 ways in the same blade. If you are processing 10” diameter which is splitting nicely into 4 ways and at the butt end the timber flares, with Transaw simply lower the 6 –way splitting knife and instantly return to the 4-way. Does not stop firewood production! No Down Time! No Tools! Quality sized firewood! Happy Customers!
• Transaw splitting blade raises completely away so rings can just be sawn and not split, this is needed for customers who process rings through kindling wood machines. No tools are required. Note if you process rings split in half the output from your kindling wood machine will also be half!
• Knotty timber does not make good kindling wood, so if you are cutting rings for kindling wood machines and the timber becomes knotty, with Transaw you can simply lower the knife and split the rings, knotty wood makes great firewood!
• Transaw does not use vee belts to drive the saw, this means maintenance costs are greatly reduced.
• The Transaw offers more safety features, Braked Saw blade (no access to machine while blade is rotating), timber has to be gripped before the saw will cut, primary and secondary safety systems as outlined in the machinery directive.
• Transaw does not offer options, for example the oil cooler and the timber deck services are standard, as the machine is designed for high production constant use.
• Transaw output conveyor is 4m (13 ft 2”) or 5m (16 ft 5”) and 500 cm (19.75”) wide ensuring constant flow of firewood with side-to-side slew.

Transaw 350 XL

Transaw 350™ is designed and manufactured by Fuelwood in the UK, its design and features are focused on the demands of firewood producers - it is uncompromised design.

Transaw 350 is fitted with a circular saw that has a cutting capacity of 35 cm (14 inches), and also has a

15-tonne semi-automatic splitting unit.

The machine is operated via a control lever with a trigger to activate the splitting unit, this enables the operator to make a visual check to ensure the log is correctly aligned before splitting.

• A changeover lever fitted at the front of the machine allows for quicker and easier user operation.

• The grease line station at the front of the machine allows for faster maintenance.

• The 3 point linkage and forklift pockets improve portability.
